“Re Onion” is a project by yuthke who is a guitarist of the band called “TAMTAM”, and by Taichi Ohno who is a guitarist of the band called “YOTOWN”, both based in Tokyo. In the first work "Garam", their sense as dj lead to “Balearic” and also “Glocal” music.
In <M-1>, it firstly comes with “Beatdown” of “Newage” and then goes to sometheing like a “Afro-beat” when The great trumpet by GorillaWave! who belong to the same label. The song
may become their representive Style.
In Addition, Yuima Enya , the singer remembered for the 7inch single of “CAT BOYS” is featured in <M-2>. This song consists of back tracks by OrangeGrooove, sampled beats for mush up, guitars, and synth-bass. Finaly it goes together to the sharmanic beach as a killer
track.

　TAMTAMのギタリスト yuthke によるプロジェクトとして、盟友 Taichi Ohno ( YOTOWN のギタリスト)と結成されたユニット「Re Onion」。ファーストリリースにあたる本作『Garam』では、DJとしても活動する彼らの感覚が色濃く反映された、バレアリック且つグローカルな音世界が表現されている。
　ニューエイジ感溢れるビートダウンから始まり、レーベルメイトである GorillaWave! の幽玄なトランペットをフィーチャーし変則アフロビートになだれ込む<M-1>は名刺代わりの一曲。さらに<M-2>は、CAT BOYSの7inchシングルでのフィーチャリングも記憶に新しいYuima Enya をフィーチャー。クルーであるクリエイターOrangeGroooveによるバックトラックに、マッシュアップされたサンプリングビート、絡み合うギター、シンセベースが渾然一体となりシャーマニックな海辺と昇華されるキラーな仕上がりとなっている。
