“Pho U” is a solo project by Haluna Ishigaki, a bassist who is a member of the band called “TAMTAM” based in Tokyo. The debut work "X-RAY VISION" can be said to be a very personal work that faces herself as a composer, one step away from her character as a bass-player that she has shown so far.
This work was created without using the bass guitar. This is Minimal ambient / plant music that resonates with psychedelic electronic music such as Mort Garson's masterpiece "Mother Earth's Plantasia" and Green-House’s "Six Songs for Invisible Gardens".
With synthesizer and field recording sounds, she creates a comfortable sound that blends into everyday life. A total of 6 songs inspired by various places in the house, such as the calm ambient "Garden" that begins with the voice of a bird and the "Bathroom" that wraps around with a synth bass tone.
I want you to enjoy the meditative songs "To fall asleep".

　TAMTAMのメンバーとして、またMimeなどのサポートも務めるベーシスト、Haluna IshigakiのソロプロジェクトPho U。そのデビュー作『X-RAY VISION』は、今まで見せてきたプレイヤーとしての側面から一歩離れた、コンポーザーとしての自身と向き合った非常にパーソナルな作品と言えるだろう。
　自身の楽器であるベースをあえて使用しないことで制作された本作は、Mort Garsonのサイケデリック電子音楽の名作『Mother Earth's Plantasia』やGreen-House『Six Songs for Invisible Gardens』と共振するようなミニマル・アンビエント/プラント・ミュージック。シンセサイザーや日常音、フィールド・レコーディングなどを重ね合わせ、日常生活に溶け込むような心地良い音を奏でている。鳥の声で始まるチルアウトなアンビエント「Garden」、シンセベースの音色で包み込む「Bathroom」など、家のさまざまな場所をテーマに作成された全6曲。「眠るために作った」という瞑想的な楽曲たちを楽しんでもらいたい。
